When I see the lake, I no longer need the sea.
The hit of the region is quite clearly Lake Neusiedl. Its impressive expanse of water vanishes into the horizon, and is surrounded by a unique natural backdrop of reeds, puszta and hills. The steppe lake is equally a wonderful place to indulge in sports. The Seebad in Neusiedl am See, just 1 km away, is a welcome place to go swimming and paddling during the hot summer. The local sailing school Neusiedl offers sailing and surfing courses for adults and children, as well as courses for the new trendy sport Stand Up Paddling. You can borrow the necessary equipment right at the certain location. In order to find your inner balance try out our yoga sessions on the lake grounds.
In wintertime, the lake draws you in, owing to its meditative charm. The silence and the broad perspective make it a wonderful place for a walk. When in winter the lake freezes over, it transforms into the largest ice rink in Austria, and beckons you for long walks on the ice or along the reeds. The best conditions are often the same for ice sailing.

Cycling through unspoilt nature
Do you seek unspoilt nature? In the Pannonian landscape, it is yet to be discovered! Simply get on your bike, and off you go! The bike paths are well-signposted and lead you to almost every corner of the region. Cycle through the familiar flat North Burgenland and enjoy the expanse of the Pannonian lowlands. The classic among the cycle paths is of course the one surrounding the lake. You start right in front of the hotel and circle the natural jewel. A complete circumnavigation of the lake will take you to Hungary over beautiful stretches of land, but can also be shortened by using one of the many bicycle ferries that cross the lake.
Your bike will be safely stored in our lockable parking area. There is a battery charging station for your e-bike. You don’t have your own bike with you? No problem, simply borrow a mobile stand in the hotel. On request, we can also arrange an e-bike from a partner company for you.
